Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum
Located at the Anchorage International Airport, this is a "must-see" for aviation historians. They have an impressive display of aircraft, and a very active restoration program.

Alaska Law Enforcement Museum
Located downtown on 5th Avenue, with a wide range of dispalys from radios and uniforms to a 1952 Hudson police car. Admission is free.

Alaska Native Heritage Center
This large cultural center and museum is a must-see for both visitors and residents - the place to learn about Alaska's 11 cultural groups.

Alaska Veterans Museum
Located downtown at 4th and D Street, open 7 days a week in the summer from 10:00am-9:00pm.

Moose Viewing in Anchorage
Powerline Pass is world famous among wildlife photographers for easy access to rutting bull moose in the Fall.
