The History of Chuloonawick
The site is located on the North bank of Kwikpak pass in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. It lies at approximately
63° 04' N Latitude, 164° 24' W Longitude (Sec. 03, T032N, R078W, Seward Meridian). The community is located in the Bethel Recording District. The area encompasses 16 sq. miles of land and 4 sq. miles of water.
This is an historical Eskimo village, now abandoned, and was first reported in 1879 by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey as "Kwikpakamiut."
