To avoid a difficult shoreline, the trail climbs to a ridge along the east side of Lindeman Lake. The pines and granite make for an extremely pleasant hike. This photo, with the north end of Lindeman visible, was taken by setting the camera on a rock and using the timer - there were no other people within about 3 miles.
