February - Fulda Challenge
Each year, two competitors each from countries around the world make their way from Skagway
to the Arctic Circle.
February - Alcan Winter Rally
This rally runs from Seattle to Dawson City, Inuvik and Anchorage.

April - Dawson City International Short Film Festival
Started in 2000, now showing short films from around the world in the ballroom of the newly renovated Odd Fellows Hall.
May-June - Yukon International Storytelling Festival
This annual festival, held in Whitehorse each June, brings together dozens of
performers from around the world.
June - Yukon River Quest
This 700-km canoe race down the Yukon River starts in Whitehorse and ends in Dawson City.
June - Alsek Music Festival
A 3-day festival held in Haines Junction, Yukon, with everything from folk to rock music.
June - Kluane Chilkat International Bike Relay
Up to 1,200 teams race over the mountains from Haines, Alaska to Haines Junction, Yukon.
June - Mayo Midnight Marathon
Started in 1996, this annual event includes a 10 km walk, 10 km run, half-marathons and full marathon segments.
July - Golf Tournament for Literacy
The Peter Gzowski Invitational golf tournament comes to Whitehorse to aid Canadian literacy.
July - Dawson City Music Festival
For many Northerners, this is the don't-miss event of the year.
July-August - Race the Rockies
A 30-day paddling, cycling and hiking race from the US/Canadian border to Dawson City.
August - Yukon River Trail Marathon
Individuals and 2 or 4-person relay teams run on a rugged 42.2-kilometer marathon route around Whitehorse.
August - Alcan 5000 Rally
This rally starts in Seattle, runs through Hyder, Skagway, Yellowknife and Dawson Creek, then ends in Jasper.
August - Raid the North Extreme
A wilderness challenge for 4-person teams, with trekking, mountain biking, paddling and fixed rope sections.
August - Klondyke Fiddle School
A fiddle school in Dawson City that offers both instruction and public performances.
