North Korean Poongsan Dog The very rare Poongsan, also Pungsan or Phungsan Dog, is a medium-sized spitz-type dog from the mountainous northern county of P'ungsan, now Kimhyonggwon, North Korea. They were originally bred for hunting and ike many spitz types, it is thought that they were bred with wolves. Their thick coat is normally white.
