Life along the Chena River close to downtown Fairbanks, with a tiny private airstrip suitable for STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) aircraft, float planes on the river, and large homes being built further and further up the hillsides to get into the great views and out of the ice fog that can settle in the valley during particularly cold spells in the winter.
