August 20, 1944: Pan American World Airways plans Clipper service to Anchorage




1946

    An ad in The Whitehorse Star of April 26, 1946, focusses on the impressive menu of meals served on their Clipper flights.




1949

    An ad in a March 1949 issue of The Whitehorse Star: "This new Flying Clipper route gives the Yukon Territory direct one-carrier service to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, the Orient ... and on around the world. Two flights weekly via Portland and Seattle."
