The Whitehorse Star - Friday, March 26, 1926


    Eugene Jacquot arrived in town this week from Kluane. He is accompanied by Ruth and Buck Dickson. With the exception of Mrs. Joe Beauchamp, who has been partially under the weather, the people are all in good health. The fur catch in that section of the country was good.




The Whitehorse Star - Friday, June 4, 1926


    Jack Haydon arrived in town on Tuesday afternoon. He brought the word that Mrs. Joe Beauchamp had passed away at her home at Bear Creek about two weeks ago. Temporary burial was made near the home but Mr. Beauchamp wishes to arrange later on for interment in the cemetery here. Before her marriage Mrs. Beauchamp had lived for years with Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Miller.

    The remains of the late Mrs. Joe Beauchamp, who passed away at Bear Creek last spring, and where temporary interment was made, were brought to town and laid to rest in the cemetery here on Tuesday. Mass was said by Rev. Father Deane, of Skagway.
