Funeral rites were held today for Andrew Lucas, 60, who died May 5 in Whitehorse General Hospital. Mr, Lucas came to Canada in 1928 from Czechoslovakia. Since 1946 he had been with D.N.D. and, since June 1953, with 17 Works Coy RCE where he was employed as a steam engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lusie Lukac of Rozinava, Czechoslovakia and by one sister Mrs. Lusie Melleky, of Pennsylvania, U. S. A. Rev. M. K. Gulbis officiated at the graveside service.
