Headline: Local Man Hangs Himself, 1956

    Investigating a report made at noon, August 6, local RCMP officers found George Pavlovich had committed suicide in his home on Wheeler Street, by hanging himself with a necktie.

    Mr. Pavlovich was born in 1898 in Yugoslavia, became naturalized in 1936 and spent most of his life in mining. The deceased had been committed to a mental institute last year but was later released.

    No inquest will be held. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by W. G. Morris, the date of the funeral to be announced later.
