On the first day of July the home of Mr. and Mrs, John N. Sharp, who reside three miles northwest of town where Mr. Sharp is engaged in the wood business, was gladdened by the arrival of a promising baby boy. This morning at 10 o'clock the death angel came and the formerly happy home is now shrouded in sorrow.
Two weeks ayo the little one, until that time a healthy and vigorous child, contracted whooping cough which was the beginning of the end.
This afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Sharp had not decided whether they will bury
their babe here or take the body to their old home, Victoria, for interment.
Mrs. Sharp is a sister to E. A. and Thomas Dixon.
