The History of Crown Point
Crown Point is on the Kenai Peninsula on the Seward Highway and at mile 24.5 of the Alaska Railroad. It lies 22 miles north of Seward in the Chugach Mountains.
It lies at approximately 60° 26' N Latitude, 149° 22' W Longitude . The community is located in the Seward Recording District. The area encompasses 6 sq. miles of land and 0 sq. miles of water.
U.S. Geological Survey agents reported a railroad station called "Trail Lake Station" at this site in 1912.
