The History of Primrose
Primrose is on the Kenai Peninsula, off of the Seward Highway at mile 18.4 of the Alaska Railroad. It lies 15 miles north of Seward. It lies at approximately 60° 20' N Latitude, 149° 20' W Longitude.
The community is located in the Seward Recording District. The area encompasses 16 sq. miles of land and 2 sq. miles of water.
Primrose was first listed as a flag stop on the Alaska Railroad in 1919.
