The History of Two Rivers
Two Rivers lies along the upper Chena River in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, southeast of Fox and adjacent to Pleasant Valley. The community is dispersed from mile 13 of
Chena Hot Spring Road to mile 25 of the Chena Hot Springs Road. It lies at approximately 64° 52' N Latitude, 147° 05' W Longitude . The community is located in the Fairbanks
Recording District. The area encompasses 13 sq. miles of land and 0 sq. miles of water.
The community lies on the banks of the upper Chena River, near the Little Chena River. It was the site of a Territorial school. Expansion of the greater Fairbanks area since
the 1970s has enabled the community to expand and develop.
