This photo by the Lomen Bros. (photo #1373) shows the power plant of a gold dredging operation near Nome, Alaska,
in about 1910. The company ran 2 dredges, a large one on Bourbon Creek with had 9-cubic-foot buckets, and another
on Wonder Creek, about 3 miles away. This power plant supplied electricity to run both of them.
