The original road was built on top of the cliffs along Muncho Lake, but a shelf was soon blasted along the lakeshore for a new road, which is in the same location today. This postcard has an EKC stamp box on the reverse, so is a real photo, printed on EKC paper - this stamp box design was used until 1950.
