An Explorer's Guide to the Taylor Highway
Waiting for a pilot car south of Chicken in July 2004. More than 6,600,000 acres of forest were burned by about 700 fires in 2004. Several along the Taylor Highway joined and became known as the Taylor Complex Fire - it burned 1,700,000 acres.
