Campgrounds & Rest Areas in the Yukon

The Kathleen Lake Campground, operated by Parks Canada, is located at Km 220 of the Haines Highway. It has 38 campsites, none of them pull-throughs, and a maximum length of 30 feet for motorhomes is recommended. It also has a boat launch and a kitchen shelter. There is superb hiking both at Kathleen Lake and in the area. The nightly fee at Kathleen Lake Campground is $26.00 including firewood.
Kathleen Lake Campground is open and fully serviced from May 17 to September 22 (in 2024), and is gated in the off-season, though the recreation area and kitchen shelter on the lakeshore is accessible all winter.
