David Bowie's Space Oddity, by Commander Chris Hadfield
A revised version of the late David Bowie's Space Oddity, recorded by Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield on board the International Space Station. The original was written by David Bowie and recorded on June 20, 1969, at Trident Studios in London, England - it was released shortly after, on July 11, 1969. Bowie praised Commander Hadfield's version in 2013, calling it "possibly the most poignant version of the song ever created" back, and the video was posted with the permission of Bowie and his publisher, Onward Music.
