Loading the ferry George Black for the short trip across the Yukon River to the Top of the World Highway, which leads to Alaska. The ferry was named after a very popular early politician. The photo was taken on July 6, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. There has been talk for many years about building a bridge here (construction almost started in 2005), but the ferry is so much more interesting.
