Yukon Recipients of Honours, Decorations, & Medals

The Order of Yukon is the highest honour in the territory, created in March 2018 to recognize long-time Yukon residents who have demonstrated excellence and achievement and made outstanding contributions to the social, cultural or economic wellbeing of the Yukon and its residents.
In 2019 and 2020 there were 10 inductees each year, then by legislation (Order of Yukon Act), there will only be 3 each year. Inductees are entitled to use the postnominal letters O.Y. - they may be used on all formal documents, correspondence, biographies and business cards.
