    Harry Coell of Bear Creek is a patient in the Whitehorse General Hospital. He went to Vancouver in January for medical attention and is on his way home. His daughter, Sheila Parkin, has gone to Whitehorse to see her father.

Dawson Man Dies Here, 1964

    A Dawson resident who had just returned from a trip Outside for medical treatment died last week in Whitehorse General Hospital.

    Harry Coell, 47, for many years a YCGC employee at Bear Creek, is survived by his wife and four children.

    The funeral will be held from the Anglican Church on Tuesday with Canon L. Privett officiating.

    Mr. and Mrs. Hank Dubois, John King and Mrs. Lorna Walmsly travelling to Whitehorse to attend the funeral services of the late Harry Coell, who passed away in the Whitehorse Hospital on November 12th.

    Harry came to Dawson in 1937 from Mara, B.C., and was employed by the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corporation. In 1941 he married Therese Dubois, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amede Dubois, and they have made their home at Bear Creek, where for the past number of years Harry was in charge of the Gold Room. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Sheila Parkin, a son, Chuck, a grandson, and his mother and father, who still reside at Mara.
