Miss ASlice Hayden Passed Peacefully Away Sunday

    Miss Alice Hayden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hayden of Kluane, died at the Whitehorse General Hospital on Sunday, August 31st. The deceased had been a patient at the hospital for the past six weeks.

    Funeral services were held at Christ Church on Wednesday, September 3rd, Rev. L. G. Chappell officiating.

    The deceased had been a resident of Whitehorse for the past year and during that period, until contracting the fatal sickness, had been assisting Mrs. Viaux at the White Pass Hotel.

    Interment took place at the local cemetery. Pall bearers were Messrs. I. Taylor, G. Ryder and Jas. Porter.
