    Funeral services were held July 19 at First Presbyterian Church for the late James Nelson. Born at Michel, B.C., Mr. Nelson was 55 years old at the time of his death from a heart attack. He had been employed as a security guard for Northwest Highway System here.

    He is survived by brothers Walter and John in Nanaimo, B.C, and one sister, Mrs. J. R. Stonehouse in Starkup, Washington.

    Rev. J. Brown-Milne conducted the final rites. Walden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and interment was at Whitehorse cemetery.




    A notice by the Public Administrator on July 31, 1958, states that Mr. Nelson died at Mocassin Flats.
