A well-known Whitehorse contractor died suddenly last weekend and was buried here Wednesday.
James M. Parent of Fourth Avenue, aged 64, was admitted to Whitehorse General Hospital on Saturday night and died early Sunday afternoon. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Funeral services for Mr. Parent were held from Sacred Heart Cathedral on Wednesday followed by interment at Whitehorse cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, one son Bob, and a daughter, Rhea, who was recently married.
