Funeral services for the late John Cowan Simpson were held July 31 from the Old Log Church. Internment followed in the Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gordon Armstrong, James Smith, Robert Rowan, Alex Mackenzie, Lloyd Ryder and Mr. Willis.
Surviving Mr. Simpson are his wife Agnes, son W. H. Simpson - all at 710 - his mother and sister in Seattle, Washington and a brother in Telegraph Creek.
