Headline: Funeral Rites For Gerry Strong, 1956

    Funeral services were held this afternoon from First Presbyterian Church for Gerald Keith Strong, 42, who died early Saturday morning, following a heart attack.

    Mr. Strong, well-known in Whitehorse, was born in St. John, New Brunswick, and spent his early years in Quebec. He came north with Poole Construction and had been employed at Taylor and Drury's for the past five years. He is survived by his wife, Hazel, two children and two brothers. Brother Elks attended the funeral service in regalia.

    W. J. Morris was in charge of funeral arrangements.
