Headline: W. H. Taylor Dies at the General Hospital This Morning After a Lingering Illness, 1904

    After a lingering illness of nearly four months' duration, W. H. Taylor passed away at the General hospital this morning at 9:30 o'clock.

    Deceased was born in Lancashire, England, 51 years ago. He was left a widower without family several years ago. Eighteen months ago he came to Whitehorse from Skagway, where he had been employed by the White Pass Company as freight checker, which position he filled here until incapacitated by the illness which act ended his career.

    The funeral will take place tomorrow at 3:30 p. m. from the General hospital. It will be conducted by the Masons, of which order deceased was an active and influential member.

    Interment will be in the Whitehorse cemetery.
