Headline: Alexander Valentine Rites Held Wednesday, 1952

    Funeral services for Alexander Valentine, 65 years of age, was held in Whitehorse last Wednesday afternoon in Christ Church at 2:30 p.m.

    Mr. Valentine was well known in the Yukon having been associated with construction work for many years. He came to Canada from Montrose, Scotland, in 1912. Served in the first World War. For a number of years he was employed by the Dominion Government at Vancouver with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lately he had joined the staff of the Northern Construction Company Ltd., and was working at Mayo, where he passed away.

    Funeral services were conducted by the Whitehorse Masonic Lodge. Alexander Valentine was a member of Emerald Lodge, Vancouver, B.C.

    He leaves his widow, Roberta, in Vancouver, one brother and a nephew in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.
